Indians around the world are celebrating the 75th Independence anniversary of India. Users of metaverse are all set to participate in the independence day celebrations.  Under the direct supervision of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign attempts to persuade individuals to bring home the national flag and hoist it to observe Independence Day.  Have a look at how leading metaverse companies are celebrating India’s independence day.

The  Har Ghar Tiranga campaign has been introduced on India’s 2D and 3D metaverse maps. This app allows users to search for their own house and ‘Post their Flag’ with an optional photo and phrase. One could also add missing houses to the map by clicking ‘Add a Place’ and then ‘Post flags’ on their house’s map.  “We wanted every Indian to celebrate Independence Day on metaverse as well. A platform where they could express themselves by hoisting the national flag, at house level,” said Rohan Verma, CEO and Executive Director of MapMyIndia. 

Kiyaverse 

Kiyaverse, India’s first Banking Metaverse, is going to celebrate Azadi Kaa Amrit Mahotsav with ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ on ‘Bharatmeta’. Users can hoist the flag in 3D by logging into the Bharatmeta portal. The managing director and CEO, of Kiya.ai. Rajesh Mirjankar stated, “Over the last 75 years, India has become a bedrock for innovation in the technology sector”. “In addition to offering secure access to financial services and trade, Bharatmeta will promote India’s values of rich culture, diversity, inclusivity, and innovation to the younger generation using the metaverse”, he added.  Other metaverses, like ZionVerse, have made NFTs of freedom fighters like Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rani Lakshmi Bai, BR Ambedkar, Subhas Chandra Bose, and Mahatma Gandhi.
