Users have been waiting to get their hands on the Sony PlayStation 5. The console is facing a global shortage due to shortage of raw material. According to the IGN India report, Sony conducted an internal meeting last month. In this meeting, the company discussed its plan for the upcoming quarter to add a batch of the older-generation PlayStation 4 in large quantities. It will also restock Sony PlayStation 5 by the end of this month. In an official statement during the initial pre-order phase, Sony had requested the interested customers to “stay in touch with retailers” about future updates. However, the company later clarified that it informed all authorised retailers not to take any advance payments or pre-orders of the PS5 till the company makes an official confirmation about restocking PS5 in India.
Why we love Sony PlayStation 5?
Sony’s exclusive gaming console promises an exciting new generation of gaming. Supporting a higher refresh rate than its predecessors, the high-quality graphics coupled with impressive haptic Dual Sense controllers make it one of the most sought-after gaming consoles on the market. The best part is that PS5 can play most PS4 titles. Also, the new Xbox consoles boast compatibility with not only Xbox One but with several Xbox 360 titles along with some OG Xbox games as well.
