Sony Xperia Z: We start with this one because it’s not yet here, and are desperately waiting to get our hands on it. With a 5-inch full HD Reality Display powered by Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2, the Xperia Z promises to be a treat for the eyes. This one is all about power, with a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor and 2 GB of RAM. It’s also got a 13 MP camera featuring Sony’s Exmos RS technology and capable of capturing HDR video. The phone features a battery STAMINA mode that can have standby up to four times longer. But the best feature that we love so far – it’s supposedly dust and water resistant, making it a suitable option for those who love to rough it out or are too clumsy. Motorola DROID RAZR: Even though Motorola hasn’t been doing as well as it once used to, their revisit to the RAZR brand sure brought back quite a few fond memories. With a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display boasting of a 312 ppi resolution, we love its sharp styling. In terms of camera power, its 8 MP rear camera and 1.3 MP front-facing camera do quite a decent job, and since it runs on Android 4.1, you can shoot panorama images with the camera. The phone comes with a massive 3300 mAh battery, which makes this phone an ideal choice for the frequent traveler who rarely has access to charging points. Powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and 1 GB of RAM, in terms of power, it’s nowhere near its competitors, but suits just fine for average use. The DROID RAZR comes with 32 GB of internal storage as well as a microSD card slot. Samsung Galaxy S3: By now, pretty much everyone’s familiar with the Galaxy S3. Its 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display does have a lower ppi count of 306 ppi when compared with Motorola’s model. This one also comes with an 8 MP rear camera but has a slightly better 1.9 MP front-facing camera. Its 2100 mAh battery may seem much smaller in comparison with that of the DROID RAZR, but does manage to offer decent amount of power to the phone. Powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor, multi-tasking is sheer effortless on the Galaxy S3. With internal storage of 64 GB and a microSD card slot, memory would never be a problem on this phone.
