The game released on PS3, PC and Xbox 360, features the high-definition version of its Vita counterpart released before. Set in the 18th century America, it runs along with the story of Pre-American revolution. The uncanny resemblance between movements of Connor (from Assassin’s Creed 3) and Avelin is very noticeable. The game is highly improved on its graphics, audio output and enhanced with new missions. Players can also alter the costumes of Aveline for her to be able to pass unnoticed during various situations within the game. However, the difference between the two versions ends there and that may leave many gamers disappointed with the new version. You may like Avelin’s new whip but the combat has nothing new to offer besides that. No one can escape the cut scenes in the version which is quite irksome for many gamers. Gamers can also opt for the DLC version ‘Assassin Voodoo Pack’ as well. Although the Liberation HD cannot be strictly compared to Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag in its combat performance, it still manages to hold ground considering its fine quality of rendering. Meanwhile, Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag has gathered five nominations at the DICE Awards including the Game of the Year nomination.
